Compared with sandblasting, subsurface engraving offers the advantage that the surface of the transparent material (glass - even tempered or laminated glass -, acrylic glass, polycarbonate, ...) is not affected and therefore easier to clean, so a durable and constant quality of the engraving is guaranteed.
